π Club Overview
Our Half-Term Club provides a fun, nurturing environment for children aged 3 to 12 during school holidays. We offer a wide range of creative, active, and cultural activities that support Welsh language development while ensuring children enjoy their time off and parents enjoy peace of mind.
π Hours of Operation
- Club Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00am β 3:00pm
- Drop-Off: 8:45am β 9:30am
- Pick-Up: 2:00pm β 3:00pm
- Late Pickup: Β£5 per 10 minutes after 3:00pm

- Daily Rate: Β£36 per child (includes meals, snacks & activities)
- Extra Hours: Β£5 per hour (book in advance)
- Payment: Invoices sent via PayPal, must be paid in full before attendance
- Instalments: Β£20 minimum due at booking, balance cleared day before session
- Unpaid sessions will be cancelled without refund

Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance will receive a 25% refund. Cancellations made with less than 48 hoursβ notice are non-refundable.

We provide nutritious, balanced meals and healthy snacks daily. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs at the time of booking. We maintain a strict nut-free policy.

π Behaviour Expectations
We promote a respectful and inclusive atmosphere. Bullying or inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated and may result in suspension without refund.

- First-aid trained staff always on site
- Emergency contact details and medical info must be provided
- Children with illness symptoms must stay home and return 24 hours after symptoms have cleared

Parents receive daily updates on their childβs activities. You can also speak with staff at drop-off and pick-up or contact us during club hours.

Club Overview
The Daffodil Welsh Language Childcare Half-Term Club is available for children aged 3-12 during school half-term breaks. Our club provides a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment with a variety of activities, games, and supervised play, ensuring that children enjoy their time off school while parents have peace of mind.
Hours of Operation
- **Opening Hours:** 09:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- **Late Pickup Policy:** Parents must collect their children promptly by 3:00 pm. A late fee of £5 will be charged for every 10 minutes beyond this time to cover additional staff costs.
Fees and Payment
- **Special Half-Term Rate:** £36 per child per day, which includes meals, snacks, and activities.
-**Additional time booked** Extra time can be booked before or after session time at an hourly rate of £5.
- **Payment Terms** Full payment is required before attendance. Invoices are issued via email through PayPal and can be either:
- Paid in full at the time of booking, or
- Paid in instalments, with a minimum of £20 due on the day of booking, and the balance to be cleared no later than the day before the session starts.
- payment can also be made using the childcare offer for Wales, the tax-free childcare scheme, or childcare vouchers.
Please note: Bookings not paid in full by the day before the session will be cancelled, and no refunds will be issued for unpaid or cancelled sessions.

Meals and Snacks
We provide balanced meals and healthy snacks throughout the day. Parents should inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. We are committed to providing a nut-free environment and accommodating specific dietary needs wherever possible.
Activities
Our programme includes arts and crafts, sports, group games, storytelling, and seasonal activities tailored to each half-term. Activities are organised to promote physical activity, creativity, teamwork, and cultural learning, with a focus on Welsh language immersion.
Behavioural Expectations
- All children are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other children.
- Inappropriate behaviour, such as bullying or aggression, will not be tolerated. Parents will be contacted if their child is involved in any behavioural issues, and repeated incidents may lead to suspension from the club without refund.
Health and Safety
- We adhere to strict health and safety protocols, including first-aid trained staff on site at all times.
- Parents are required to provide up-to-date emergency contact information and disclose any medical conditions that could impact their child’s participation.
- In the event of illness, children showing symptoms such as fever, vomiting, or diarrhoea should remain at home and only return to the club once they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours.
Parent Communication
Parents will receive a daily summary of activities and any relevant updates about their child’s day. Parents are welcome to reach out to staff at drop-off or pick-up times or to contact us during club hours.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
- **Drop-Off:** Between 8:45 am and 09:30 am. Parents are encouraged to arrive within this window to ensure a smooth start to the day.
- **Pick-Up:** Between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Photo ID may be requested for anyone not known to staff who is collecting a child.
Booking and Availability
Spaces for the half-term club are limited, and priority is given on a first-come, first-served basis.
